Card is required for playing games in the arcade. There are two types of cards: Blue and Yellow. Blue card is for games that is not related to gambling. This includes, but not limited to rhythm games and Initial D. While for all gambling games, a yellow card is required. Please tell the counter that you need a blue card if you want to play any rhythm games. The card costs $20, and is not refundable according to the recent policy.
After you get a card, you can charge your card at the BLUE charging machine near the counter. The machine accepts $10, $20, $50 and $100. You can change your money at the counter also. DO NOT charge at the yellow machine as they might not refund the money.
Charging is simple. First insert money into the machine. Then press the yellow button, then tap the card on the left-hand-side reader. You can double confirm the balance on the right-hand-side reader.
Before you charge, always check if the charging system is working by first tapping the card on the right-hand-side reader. If you see something like "服務器忙" or "請稍等", inform the staff about this and do not insert any money into the machine.
There are several stores that sells drink, including the 759 Store at the same floor and Donki Donki at the 1st floor. 759 Store is suggested since the price are cheap and provide different varieties of drinks (Provided you need to register their member by downloading their app).
For food, the shopping mall have many nice foods, though most of them are chained stores. If you want to try some local nice foods, I suggest you to go to San Po Kong, 1km away from this shopping center.
